About Monique...

I love written records that capture the historical people and events of the past. Since childhood I have been fascinated on the relatively misunderstood, little known or forgotten happenings in history.  I long ago discovered that most every story, although perhaps not entirely accurate, usually has a kernel of truth to it and this belief has led me down some fascinating research corridors.

I write as Monique Mousseau Taylor. My first book, Suicide Jockeys: The Making of the WWII Combat Glider Pilot, winner of the 2025 National Indie Excellence Award in Military Non-Fiction, was published under the name Monique Taylor.
